We have several Small Groups that meet on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. If you want a chance to strengthen your relationship with Jesus while sharing with others, then this is a great opportunity for you. If you would like to join a group or start a new group, please contact Dale DeNeal
Oasis is a Tuesday morning group that meets for fellowship and Bible study. This group is usually taught by Drew Mentzer and it is an in-depth study and discussion of the Bible. This study is open to anyone who would like to attend, and it meets at 10:00 am in Hallelujah Hall at the church building. Man2Man is a ministry for men and by men at Second. Events are planned for fun and fellowship. Such events in the past have been golf outings, the annual Cast and Blast (fishing and shooting), bowling, a baseball game, canoeing, go carts, and a saturday morning breakfast. Man2Man ministries has also begun an Emergency Response Team which is prepared to work in Vermilion County in the event of some disaster. Young at Heart is a Christian fellowship group formed to meet the social needs of church members 55 years and older, as well as their friends and neighbors.
